... so fresh and so clean?This weekend, I attended the Black T.I.E. Charity Gala to raise money for the Toronto Argos Stop the Violence - We Are Toronto campaign.
The gala was put on by the ladies of the Black Pearls, the volunteer branch of Toronto's Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
It was a lovely evening and, I must say, I was a hot girl... too hot for me to post a picture of myself up close and personal ;)

Sounds like a great event. Was it a dinner & dance? Any speakers?
@ miz jj - yep, it was a dinner & dance. There was a singer and an Afro-Caribbean dance troupe that performed. Eric England from the Argos was the keynote speaker. Then we got our groove on for about an hour and a half. I was quite pleased ;)
I love to see black folk dressed up and looking clean. Sounds like a good time was had by all!
nice pic. this is an event where you don't need metal detectors or be afraid to scuff somebody's pumas. i didn't know toronto had sororities. i want to join a sorority!!
